Mark attended Redding’s primary schools as a young boy. His secondary schooling took place at St. Luke's Academy in New Canaan, CT. He later attended Western Connecticut university. Then began working in the construction industry in 1983. When encouraged by family and friends, Mark opened his own company in 1986 by the name North Point Construction. North Point refers to his maxim of being part of a whole, his inspiration, Block Island, RI where he spent summers working numerous jobs throughout the Island. Mark has always appreciated the new England architecture, whether it was working on the Block, or helping his sister on the Vineyard he has made construction his life. It seemed only natural to go the extra mile and be there for his clients from purchase through renovations, or repairs to the sale.
